Leah Remini
Actress Leah Remini, who celebrated her 50th birthday earlier this year, started her career in the late eighties with a role in the sitcom Who’s the Boss?, which led to a one-season spin-off called Living Dolls. She appeared mostly on TV throughout the nineties and even auditioned for the part of Monica Geller on the iconic sitcom Friends (but as we all know, she eventually lost the part to Courtney Cox).
In the late nineties, she starred on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens (1998-2007), and later she was a host on the talk show The Talk between 2010-2011. Despite the fans’ objections, she was fired from the show after only one season, and the production refused to reveal the reasons behind this, which was answered with a great deal of criticism on the channel.
