Christopher Nolan
Although you might not recognize him, you must be familiar with the name Christopher Nolan – one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Nolan is a director, producer, and screenwriter known for a number of Hollywood mainstream films, including The Dark Knight Trilogy (2005–2012), The Prestige (2006), and the sci-fi thriller Inception (2010).
Nolan’s second film was the psychological thriller Memento (2000), which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Original Screenplay, as well as international prominence as a filmmaker. Following the success of Memento, Nolan created a string of commercially and critically successful films, making him one of Hollywood’s highest-grossing directors, and earning him no less than 34 Oscar nominations and ten Oscar awards.
