Jennifer Connelly
American actress Jennifer Connelly began modeling when she was 10 years old, after a friend of her parents suggested the idea. After two years of what seemed like a promising modeling career, her mother took her to her first acting audition. Her first role was in the epic crime drama Once Upon a Time in America.
Connelly appeared in a number of films throughout the nineties, and although they weren’t a box office success, she was always praised for her acting. In the early 2000s, she starred in two highly acclaimed films – Darren Aronofsky’s drama Requiem for a Dream (2000) and the biopic A Beautiful Mind (2001), for which she received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Currently, she stars in the TNT dystopian TV series Snowpiercer (2020).
