Matt Damon
American actor and screenwriter Matt Damon is known as a “bankable star” – a star who’s sole appearance in the film makes it a box office success. Can you deny it? It seems like everything Matt Damon touches turns to gold. His interest in acting flourished in high school, where he participated in his school’s theater productions.
His film debut was in 1988, in the comedy-drama Mystic Pizza, but it was only in 1997 that he gained fame after starring in Good Will Hunting, which he wrote with Ben Affleck. The following year, he starred in the highly-acclaimed drama Saving Private Ryan (1998), and his career continued to soar. Damon met his wife, Luciana Bozán Barroso, at a bar where she worked, while filming Stuck on You in Miami, and they’ve been married since 2005.
