These days it seems like a normal thing for the president of the United States to have a dog if he so pleases in the White House. But wouldn’t it be interesting to know how this tradition of having s dog in the White House first started?
Well, John Adams, the second president of the United States of America was the first president to ever have a dog in the White House. Not only was this probably considered a little strange at the time, but it was nothing compared to the name of his dog, Satan.
