#45: Who Can Read This?
When it comes to reading maps, there are plenty of different ways to understand them today. 30 years ago one would have to physically know how to read a map because they wouldn’t have had their map application on their phone to help them in a sticky situation.
Even though 1375 seems like a really long time ago, they still needed some way to move around, and that’s where maps come into play. Considering that latitude and longitude lines weren’t yet invented, this is a pretty impressive map for its time.
