To say that the Upside Down looks similar to planet LV-436, from the film, Alien, would be an understatement. From the hazmat suits that Joyce and Hopper are wearing, to the hatched eggs and jetsam floating in the air, coating everything it touches. And don’t even get us started on the similarity between when they found Will and what Kane experienced in Alien.
