#13: Repurpose Old Shirts
When shirts get stained or have holes in them, tossing them out seems like the normal thing to do. There’s no judgment there; after all, you can’t wear them again, and you don’t want to take up space in your closet. However, that doesn’t mean you have to give up on them.
Instead, you can cut them into squares and reuse them as dishrags until they fall apart, like many other options on this list. Not only does this prevent you from creating unnecessary waste, but it saves you money as you don’t have to go and buy new clothes.
