#27: Frozen Herb Mixes for the Rescue
Herbs go bad quickly, and fresh herbs are way better than dried ones. Before I discovered this trick, I ended up wasting so many herbs. Now, if I have some left over after my meals, I simply freeze them with some oil and save them for my next meal. It serves the purpose of adding oil to the dish and infusing the oil and dish with flavor.
Once they are frozen, just put them in a freezer-safe bag and label them so you always know what you have. If you don’t like oil or are trying to reduce your oil usage, you can also just put them in water. It will still impart flavor and you can just cook off the water.
