Astonishing Scenes Of Nature’s Complete Takeover Of Abandoned Spots

October 23, 2020 by Elizabeth Grillo

We imagine our bridges, highways, canals, ports, and cities as permanent buildings. We don’t expect nature to retake her territory when humans leave. These abandoned structures are ubiquitous, hidden in areas of the earth that have been forgotten until now. It’s crazy to think that humans were responsible for some of these amazing abandoned spots.

Maybe you’ve been one of the lucky ones to witness some of these structures in person. If not, then do what the rest of us do and look at this selection of scary and strange abandoned locales and imagine how it feels to rediscover them. Would you dare to enter and look around?

This Ancient Chimney Resembles A Scene From A Post-Apocalyptic Film

It is possible that this tree is over a century old, and as it has grown, it has made the decision to take over this unused chimney. The natural world is perfectly capable of conquering anything that stands in its path. Because this tree could not survive without sunshine, it was forced to conform to its environment.

This antique chimney, which can be found in Berhampur, India, looks like it was taken straight out of a movie about the end of the world. Trapunzel, Treepunzel, let the long vines drop from your tree! It seems like the ideal spot to construct a treehouse and act as though you are the ruler of the entire universe while doing so.
