Tampons Improved
Ok, women of the world. Time to be both horrified and overjoyed by the evolution of feminine hygiene. Tampons were once made from papyrus, wool, and fern, and were likely not as effective as they are now. Today tampons are usually made from cotton and rayon, and are available in a variety of sizes to adjust to each woman’s individual needs. Different options like organic cotton are also available.
Safety and health testing have also ensured that feminine hygiene products used today meet certain health requirements keeping ladies safe, healthy, and in control. As we look ahead to feminine hygiene in the coming years we expect to see more cups and other eco-friendly items enter the market.
