Dental Care
A toothbrush similar to the model we use today dates all the way back to 1498 in China. This bristle brush used coarse hairs that were taken from the back of a hog’s neck. These hairs were then attached to bone or bamboo handles. That does not sound too appealing does it? The toothbrush we know and love today made its appearance in 1938.

Since then, toothbrushes have developed to help us achieve better oral hygiene. Today toothbrushes are made from plastic and other materials and are disposable. Some, however, opt for electric toothbrushes which are a whole new ballgame.
