Horses
Did we mention her majesty loved animals already? Well, we weren’t done talking about that just yet. At the time of her death, there would be a total of one hundred horses who had a home at the royal stables. We suspect they won’t be going anywhere soon because the winnings from the elite horses over the years have brought in over ten million dollars of prize money.
It seems like caring for animals can give you some financial gain in the end. But the Queen wasn’t in it for the money, she learned how to ride horses very early in her life and was given her first pony, Peggy, by her father, King George VI. Talk about an unbelievable legacy to live up to.
