Parrot Problems
I’m a huge proponent of seatbelts for anyone in a car. Did you know that seatbelts have saved more lives than all other vehicle technologies combined? We’re talking thousands and hundreds of thousands of lives. Buckle yourself up, for goodness’ sake, buckle your kid up, and where possible, properly restrain your pets in your car; they can be killed in car accidents just like you can.
But what about parrots? I mean, think about it: the danger of not being buckled up in a car is that if there’s an accident, you can be slammed into something hard and injure yourself or even ejected through a window. But if a parrot was ejected through a window, couldn’t it just fly away? Can a bird be injured in a car accident? These are the questions that will now plague me.
