#35 Evan Rachel Wood
Evan Rachel Wood would always tell people that labels are tricky. However, she has also always had a firm stance for bisexual visibility. In a tweet in 2013, Wood wrote, “I prefer ‘queer.’ Bisexual works too except I don’t exclude transgender people. This is why labels are tricky. In 2015, the Westworld actress addressed several biophobic assumptions made against her on Twitter.

“I can assure you that whatever ‘straight privilege’ I sometimes get accused of having, gets erased by #biphobia,” she wrote. “Remember, bisexuality doesn’t mean halfway between gay or straight. It is its own identity.” In 2020, she left Twitter for good following a hurtful comment made against the recently deceased Kobe Bryant.”I can assure you that whatever ‘straight privilege’ I sometimes get accused of having, gets erased by #biphobia,” she wrote. “Remember, bisexuality doesn’t mean halfway between gay or straight. It is its own identity.”
