It’s not uncommon for McDonald’s and other fast food chains to have stores that are open 24 hours a day. Those late-night hours might not get as busy, but some people have a craving for junk food late at night or early in the morning. We’re not here to judge!

This McDonalds, though, is an anomaly. They wanted to extend their business hours but didn’t want to be open 24 hours a day. So they decided to close for one hour every day, between 3 to 4 am. That seems pretty random, don’t you think? Maybe they figured those are the slowest business hours, and they might as well use those dead hours for a nap.
