#19: Life Is Weird
Have you ever had a family member do something that you’re ashamed of? Isn’t it difficult to be associated with something you disapprove of because of a decision that a relative made? Well, imagine how much harder it would be if your younger brother assassinated the president of the United States.

That’s what happened to Edwin Booth, a famous Shakespearean actor who is now better known for his younger brother’s actions. But in an interesting twist, he once saved Lincoln’s son from falling onto a train platform. I hope that knowing the heroic act he performed to help the president’s family made him feel a little better about the shame of what his brother had done.
