#45: Different Icons, One Voice
Miss Piggy is a puppet character that first appeared on The Muppet Show comedy series in 1976. Yoda is a fictional character from the popular science-fiction franchise Star Wars. The two of them don’t have a whole lot in common, except for one little-known fact: Both characters were voiced by the same person.

These two iconic characters were voiced by American puppeteer and filmmaker Frank Oz. He was the voice of Miss Piggy throughout the duration of the show between 1976 and 1981, and provided the voice for Yoda in two Star Wars films in 1981 and 1983.
