#4: Another Success Story
This girl is too humble—we think this cake turned out way better than “pretty good.” Considering she isn’t an experienced baker, we’re seriously impressed. If we didn’t know better, we’d think this cake was store-bought from a professional pastry chef. Isn’t it great when things turn out better than we expect?
Perhaps the lesson to be learned here is that we need to give ourselves more credit. Trying to cook, bake, or do anything for the first time is scary, but you might surprise yourself with some patience and practice. Perhaps it wouldn’t come out perfect on the first try – it’s enough to google “cake fails” to be discouraged – but then a photo like this one comes along, and our hope is restored.
