Where to keep your eggs
Sometimes it’s not your mom or your grandma who lead you astray, but manufacturers. Take the average refrigerator, for example. Where would you expect to find the eggs and milk if you wandered into the kitchen and opened the door to grab a snack? Yup, you guessed it: in the door.
That may be where the plastic egg compartment and the tray just big enough for the milk carton are, but it’s not where they should go. Seriously, the shelves in the door, and at the top of the fridge are warmer than the other shelves, so they don’t keep things as cool. No one wants lukewarm milk with their cereal.
