50+ Times people showed unbreakable confidence even though they were totally wrong

This is actually exactly what happens after every election day, the votes get counted right after. In just what way is this a radical idea? Did they think that the votes would just sit there for a random time period and when we eventually feel like finding out who won we start counting?

We’re not really sure what this person imagined the election process to be like, but it’s not at all what they’re claiming. It would be funny to think that they went their entire lives up until that point believing in some completely self-invented ballot counting process. Perhaps they thought we were all just living in medieval society.
