Many parents want to help their kids get better and improve their lives. However, some parents just want you to get it together and not burden them with your issues.
Dealing with your mental state of mind can surely feel like a burden, even though everyone has work to do on their mental health. This person doesn’t want to tell their parents about their mental state because they might make them feel like a burden. Most people probably feel this way.
