Tenants Tell What It’s Like Renting from an Uncaring Landlord

Do you remember from the Spider-Man movies (the ones with Tobey McGuire) where the landlord would pester him for rent? To the landlord’s credit, Peter was always overdue, and the landlord needed that money to fix the place up (probably). The good thing is that he never resorted to violence to get the money from Peter. That’s a good thing too, seeing as how Spidey could kick anyone’s butt.

This person didn’t have such a kindhearted landlord. The person came at the OP while wielding a hammer because—get this—he was overdue by two weeks. You know, you can just call the cops and have them handle the situation. Is being late by two weeks really worth jailtime?
