#13: Off Limits
We thought this rule would go without saying since it’s an “unspoken” rule, but obviously not. Ladies, never, ever get together with your friend’s ex-man. We don’t care how hot he is. Trust us when we say he’s not worth it. No man is worth losing a valuable friendship!
Obviously, there are some expectations to the rule– there always are. But generally speaking, hooking up with a friend’s ex is a recipe for disaster. Feelings will get hurt, people will be betrayed, and your friendships might even be destroyed. If you find yourself in a sticky situation like this, take a step back. There are plenty of fish in the sea, and your friend’s ex is not the only available guy out there.
