#4: Do I Know You?
Another woman posted her unspoken rule, which is similar to many other people’s advice on this forum. If a girl or a woman you don’t know comes up to you and pretends to know you, just go with it. There’s a reason she’s pretending you’re her friend– she’s probably in a scary situation.
If this ever happens to you, the other woman is most likely alone and feels threatened by someone in the area. Someone could be following her, harassing her, or making her feel unsafe. So when she walks up to you and starts talking, you better hug her like you’ve been BFFs for 20 years and haven’t seen each other in ages.
