Chore Inequality
Women, on average, spend an hour and a half per day combined on cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Out of that time frame, approximately one-third is dedicated to cleaning specifically. Men only spend around 30 minutes in total for these tasks; 10 minutes of that is used for chores such as dusting or cleanup.

Although men and women are equal when it comes to earning money, they continue to perform different amounts of housework. Regarding childcare, women still do more than their male counterparts; however, much of this imbalance persists across time, occupations, and even for individuals who work longer hours and make greater salaries. Even in nations with national programs dedicated to gender equality, women do more housework than men.
