Stan Musial – 1948 Bowman
Let’s go back to 1948. “Stan The Man” Musial made his debut for the St. Louis Cardinals on the huge field in 1941. For his entire 22-year MLB career, he was a Cardinal. It’s possible you don’t have a card from 1948, but perhaps you’re fortunate enough that it exists.
Stan The Man’s MLB accomplishments are remarkable. He was a three-time MVP (and runner-up three more times), two-time Major League Player of the Year, and seven-time batting champion. He was an All-Star player, except for his first year, and he won three World Series titles. His Hall of Fame card, in excellent condition, can sell for upwards of $1,000.
