Hank Aaron – 1954 Topps
Following in the footsteps of Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron is next on our list. He began his career with the Milwaukee Braves in 1954 and moved to Atlanta before returning to Milwaukee to play for the Milwaukee Brewers from 1975-76. Until Barry Bonds broke his record (many claims illegally) in 2007, Hank Aaron held the all-time home run record of 755.
Hammerin’ Hank is an MLB legend. With 755 home runs, two Batting Titles, three Golden Gloves, a part of the 1957 World Series champion team, 25 All-Star appearances, and a Hall of Fame inductee, it’s no surprise that his only rookie card sold for $357,000.
