Roger Clemens was an MLB pitcher who earned his nickname “The Rocket” because of his incredible throwing abilities. He debuted for the Boston Red Sox in 1984 and continued to play for the Toronto Blue Jays, New York Yankees, Houston Astros, and ultimately the New York Yankees until 2007. He was a superb pitcher with a win-loss ratio of over .800 in several seasons.
There were allegations of steroid use in his history that tainted his reputation and hurt his reputation. They even kept him from being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
