LeBron James – Upper Deck 2004
On our list of most valuable sports cards, “King James” makes a comeback. In 2003, James began his career with the Cleveland Cavaliers and is currently with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was the 2003 Rookie of the Year, MVP four times, 4-time Finals MVP, 2007 Scoring Champion, and has made 17 All-star appearances, among other accolades.
The Upper Deck LeBron James card set had a strict limit of 23 autographed cards, all of which were his jersey number. One of these cards was sold for an astounding $1.845 million at an auction in July 2020. Each card included a piece of a game-worn Cavilers uniform from James’ inaugural season with the team.
