Shanghai
Shanghai is one of China’s largest cities and the world’s most populous metropolis, located on the Yangtze River. It’s also the world’s most populated city. Despite being a fishing town at first, it rapidly developed into a metropolis owing to its excellent location for trade.
However, if you’re in China and want to see some non-urban culture, Shanghai isn’t the city for you. If you want more rural scenery and agricultural cultures rather than flashy architecture, we recommend heading out into rural China on an adventure.
