The Dead Sea
The Dead Sea isn’t simply a salty puddle. The first health resort recognized (for Herod the Great), and to this day, visitors come to it to bathe in the natural therapeutic properties of the salts and minerals in its waters.
However, if you aren’t prepared, it may leave a bad taste in your mouth. It’s an awful idea to go to the middle of the desert during the summer (so avoid it after May and before October). It’s also not at all comparable to swimming in a regular lake. Keep that in mind and have a good time.
