Mind your business
When I was a teenage girl I spent far too long stressing out over what I looked like, what my skin was doing, how my hair looked, and whether my clothes were cool or not. All that energy would have been much better placed protesting about the school uniform or catching up o my general reading.
Thankfully, it does seem as if being a teenage girl these days is less about a perfectly made-up face and more about being yourself. It definitely is for the girl overheard here, and she’s not afraid to let her friend know how unbothered she is by makeup. Her friend should probably keep her opinions to herself.
