What Animals Help With Climate Change

August 3, 2021 by Brandy

Today we’re going to share some of the amazing animals out there in the world that helps with climate change! We hope that you enjoy this list of animals that are doing their part to help protect planet Earth.

What animals help fight climate change?

There have been studies that found releasing large animals into the arctic could help fight climate change. Animals like bison, horses, and reindeer apparently do well in the arctic and are able to reduce the warming of our planet.

Researchers are suggesting releasing these large animals out in the wild up in the arctic regions to help offset climate change. We will keep our eyes on the situation to see if this starts to help reduce the impact of climate changes or not.

Large Primates

Large primates, toucans, and tapirs help spread seeds among the rainforests for with so many human beings tearing down the forests, these animals are starting to die. The large primates that help offset climate change, are the ones suffering the most from our human habits.

That’s why we need to do our part to help and protect toucans, tapirs, and large primates out there in the wild. Most of these animals that are helping with climate change live in the rainforests and deforestation is mostly to blame for them losing their habitats!

American Bullfrog

It’s been said that the American bullfrog will survive climate change, and that’s because they’re better at quickly adapting when adapting is needed.

There are other animals that may do their part now to help with climate change but are facing extinction if the globe doesn’t’ cool down sooner. The food supply, water supply, and other needs for wild animals are not as nutritious as they once were. This means that the animals that can help with climate change are slowly losing their health and homes.

Plants

While we don’t think of plants as animals, they are living organisms and they play a significant role in climate change. Plants are able to feed other animals that help with climate change and they spread seeds and grow to help keep the planet cooler.

There you have it, a list of which animals and what animals are able to help with climate change. You see, saving the planet from global warming isn’t just a task for human beings, it’s a task for everyone on this lovely planet!
