Destroyed City In France
Destruction during War is brutal, and the casualties are even higher. It’s not a very positive thing to look back on ever. In the first picture, we see a destroyed city, it just feels haunted, and not something to wish upon any city, and its inhabitants.
The compared aftermath picture is beautiful. Looking at both pictures together evokes a hunger for the beautiful things in life. If you look at the aftermath picture it should inspire awe and genuinely good feelings of beauty after destruction. Yes, the first picture evokes anger, sadness, and bad memories, but the second picture is the opposite.
