The person who left this note on his car is clearly desperate, and we can definitely sympathize with that. After receiving three parking tickets for parking in an area that requires a sticker, this person decided to appeal to the officer’s heart. What do they have to lose? They’re obviously desperate, and this is their last resort.

In a way, they have a case here. They’ve ordered a new sticker, and they’re just waiting for it to arrive. We all know how slow the mail can be, and there’s nothing they can do about it. If the officer who works on this street has any compassion, they would let it slide this time. We want to believe people are essentially good, and this would certainly help.
