Being the Boss Is a 24/7 Job
In a perfect world, marriage would be all about an equal partnership and both people pulling their weight. As it stands now, women still run the household in a majority of families, whether or not they work outside of the home. This means that they are continually directing, AKA “nagging” their husbands, to do things like put the towel in the hamper or do the dishes.
It can, of course, be draining. Being the boss seems like it’s all fun and games, but as this lady points us, bossing people around all day, every day, is hard work. It is called emotional labor for a reason. This wife laments how much work it is to boss her husband around and get him to do stuff around the house.
