Erin Moran
Erin Moran, a former child star in the United States, had already been working professionally in the acting industry for about ten years when she was cast in the role of Joanie Cunningham in the 1970s. Moran, who had freckles on his face and was always smiling, was a fan favorite. In 1982, this resulted in the creation of a spin-off called “Joanie Loves Chachi.” Even though Moran has been seen in recent movies like “Murder, She Wrote” and “The Love Boat,” her fame from those parts will never be able to match to the fame she gained from her time on “Happy Days.” Unluckily for Moran, she would suffer through a period of personal and financial struggle, with some sources saying that she was homeless for a brief period of time at this time.
Throughout the course of her career, she made appearances in a wide variety of films and television shows. Moran, who had been battling throat cancer for the previous five years, lost his battle with the disease and went away at the age of 56, while he was still a young man. Even with everything that has happened to her, there is no question in our minds that she is content and that wonderful smile is still on her face.
