Okay, we guarantee this one will throw you for a loop. The role of Obi-Wan Kenobi was, in fact, hated by Sir Alec Guinness. And we are talking hated! Now, it is no secret that Obi-Wan Kenobi was one of the most significant Jedi in the Star Wars universe, yet Sir Alec Guinness detested portraying the role. 

He was one of the more seasoned performers that worked on the first film, although he didn’t like the character or the genre.  So, does he really hate it for a genuinely good reason, or is this simply because he didn’t like his role?
