Nineteen years
Jan had been in bed, in a deep coma for nineteen years now. That had to be some type of world record. But the family didn’t care about those things at all, they just wanted him to wake up. They had kept him alive for so long, they were going to stay committed to it.
After all, you don’t just keep someone alive for almost two decades and then decide to pull the plug on them. It just didn’t make any sense to them now, they were going to keep him going for as long as it would take. But it would take much longer, a miracle occurred.
