Here’s another case of a celebrity breaking into the world of technology. This time, David Bowie took matters into his own hands and decided to create his own ISP back in 1998, the ‘’BowieNet.’’ Sadly, it didn’t have much success, but it would be pretty funny if we were all using David Bowie’s social media instead of Facebook! 

It’s actually really impressive that it lasted all the way into 2012, considering you had to pay 10$ a month. I can only imagine the type of posts and websites people had – I’m sure nothing for the faint of heart.
