#3: Lower Your Voice
Like many of these tips and tricks, this next one sounds very easy but can be particularly difficult to apply when confronted with a relevant situation. It’s much simpler to get carried into the tumultuous tones of the tantrums and tiffs of our fellow than to try and self-mediate the situation.
You see it all the time in elementary school. It’s the difference between the teacher who yells at their students to get them to shut up, or the one who speaks softly until the children quiet themselves down enough to hear. Let’s be honest, at the end of the day, most of us are really just elementary school students.
