Whether ominous or just downright daunting, there are many structures out there that make the alarm bells go off in your head. Some have poor lighting choices that increase the creep-out factor by 1000%, and others have unsettling color schemes and building materials that make them downright creepy. If you love architecture as much as we do, you’ll either appreciate these buildings or shake your head along with us at how scary most of them are. #1: The Crooked House
We’re all familiar with the Leaning Tower of Pisa, but that isn’t the only crooked building in the world. This pub in England is aptly called The Crooked House and is named after the incident that resulted in the building tilting on its side.

It was built in the 19th century on top of an old mine shaft, and as a result, over the years, the building sank 4 inches on its side. The funny thing is this famous building is a pub; can you imagine people going in and out of there after having a few drinks? That could be a bit of a mindbender!
