#22: I’m Not Going Up There
This structure gets a big “nope” from me. Some people may love the thrill, but that support system doesn’t look sturdy enough for my liking. You might be familiar with this building—it’s the famous Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. It opened in 1962 and is 605 feet tall. For those of you who love a good thrill, the floors within the observation deck are glass so that you can see the ground sixty floors beneath you.
The floor within the Loupe rotates, as well, in case you want to be dizzy during your thrill-seeking and terrifying experience. Renovations started in 2018 to create even more heart-stopping phenomena, like tilted glass benches and open-air glass decks. I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather sit on steel that high up.
