Frankfurt, Germany, has been working hard to rebuild its “old town” sector. This part of the city was demolished in WWII, and residents want to get it back to the way it was before. For now, it’s deserted, and I can’t help but wonder if that’s partially because of the creepy atmosphere this towering building in the background creates.

Hopefully, sometime soon, this quarter gets the influx it desperately needs and is bustling with life, cafés, and sweet shops!
