Rob Lowe
Rob Lowe’s stardom ascended after his roles in “St. Elmo’s Fire” and “The Outsiders.” A scandal in the late eighties temporarily slowed his climb up the A-list, affecting the number and quality of his roles.
However, Lowe made a triumphant comeback, thanks in part to Aaron Sorkin, who cast him in the first four seasons of “The West Wing.” He later contributed to the cult comedy “Parks and Recreation” on NBC, lent his voice as Simba in “The Lion Guard,” and is currently making waves with his new show, “9-1-1: Lone Star.”
