#52: Phil Mickelson
Phil Mickelson has had an impressive—and impressively long—career as a professional golfer. He has won every major except the US Open and a whole slew of championships; his 2021 win at the PGA Championship at the age of 50 made him the oldest person to win a major championship in history. In 2012, he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
He currently ranks second on the list of all-time PGA Tour tournament prize money won and has earned even more from endorsement deals, leading to a net worth of 400 million USD. He doesn’t always hold onto it well; according to a recent book, he’s a big gambler and may have gambled away as much as 100 million USD.
