Michael Jackson was thrust into the spotlight at such an early age that most of his life has been well-documented. But on June 25, 2009, the world was rocked to its very core when the King of Pop suddenly passed away, less than three weeks when his first show of the This Is It tour was scheduled to begin. While the world knows a lot about Michael, even parts that he probably wanted to keep out of the public eye, his three children remain relatively unknown. Being the child of an international superstar must have its perks, but how have they done since their father’s death? Join us as we take a closer look at what it was like for the three Jackson kids growing up.

Meet Debbie Rowe
Michael Jackson’s first wife was none other than the daughter of the King of Rock and Roll, Lisa Marie Presley. They had met in the 1980s during a concert, but it wasn’t until 1994 when the two took their relationship to the next level. However, after just two years of marriage, they divorced, and that’s when Debbie Rowe came into the picture.

Debbie was Michael’s second wife, an assistant to a dermatologist who was in charge of taking care of MJ’s vitiligo. They hit it off pretty quickly, and in November 1996, the two tied the knot. Again, his marriage would only last for two years, but during that time, Debbie would give birth to two children.
