#3: Smartly Shaped Trays
It seems that the layout of the dining establishments has been rectangular since time immemorial. It just seems like an easy, logical shape that can fit lots of food. But once you actually bring your tray to the table, you quickly realize that it’s actually a pretty inefficient design.
But maybe you, like me, never questioned it because that’s just the way trays are. Well, luckily for these students, some clever soul actually thought through how the trays would be used and came up with a much better design. Such a small thing to make such a big difference.
