Madame D – Tilda Swinton
Wes Anderson’s 2014 comedy-drama, The Grand Budapest Hotel, has a massive cast of seventeen actors. Madame D., a wealthy dowager, is the crux of the plot in the movie.

Angela Lansbury initially accepted this role, but she later dropped out. Fortunately, Tilda Swinton was available and willing to step in. As with many other actors on this list, Tilda often changes her appearance for her roles. For instance, to play an 84-year-old Scottish actress, Tilda spent five hours in makeup.
